September 2023 Updates

Recent News:

• Neighborhood yard sale will be held on Oct 7, 8am-1pm (rain date Oct 14)

• 2024 Board Meeting Schedule - mark your calendars!

  • May 9

  • July 11 - to include an open discussion on the 2025 CCA budget

  • September 12 - BOD will vote to approve the budget. New board members will be nominated and voted in.

  • November 14

• Dan Ogren re-joined the board, to start in 2024. Tim Deeley renewed his term. Jennifer Hansen will be rolling off the board after many years of service. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

Next Board Meeting: Thursday, November 9, 2023 - 6:30pm @ Jefferson Ruritan. If you can not attend, please submit your proxy form by mail or email to copperfieldmd@gmail.com. This will be a very brief meeting, followed by a neighborhood holiday potluck. Stay tuned for details!

July Updates 2023

Recent News:

• Thanks for your hard work on maintaining your yard / houses. The architectural committee did a walk through and, for the most part, everything looked great.

• Lawns by Jeff planted new crepe myrtles at the entrance to the neighborhood - thank you Jeff!

• The county will be contacted regarding the grass not growing at the pond construction site.

• The 2024 budget is in the works and will be discussed further/voted on at the Sept Board Meeting.

Mark your Calendar: June 3 is a fun filled day.

8am - 12pm: the annual community yard sale

Starting at 4pm: Party in the Park! Bring the whole family with lawn chairs, snacks, games, etc. Featuring:

• Live music from The Remedy Band

• In10se BBQ Food Truck

• Prospect Point beer truck

• Kona Ice

• Raffles (bring cash)!

• New this year - a neighborhood food drive! Neighborhood Scouts will be accepting canned food from 4-6pm the day of the event.

Contributions are being accepted to help fund this event. Funds will help offset the costs for the band and port-a-potty. You can contribute via ...

• Cash & Check can be dropped off to Maggie (3321 Brockton Dr).

*The food trucks are not paid to show up, so please remember to support them!

Other News ...

• Grass-cutting season is upon us. Please remember to blow your clippings back into your yard (not into the street).

• HOA Dues are due July 1. Payment details can be found here.
